Urgent Action Alert


Dear EDC Advocates and Activists:

We are asking for your stories describing negative experiences and outcomes related to corporate wellness programs. DEADLINE 4/23 - Thursday - MIDNIGHT, EST.

Did a 'Wellness Program' in your office lead to: discrimination? the triggering of behaviors? did your company failure to inform or provide "Reasonable Alternative Standard” policies? did you relapse into or develop an eating disorder because of a wellness program? were you caused any other harm?

We need your help in flooding the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and humanizing the reasons why invasive questioning, wellness programs based on weight metrics (such as BMI), Biggest Loser style competitions and punitive fines are a direct discrimination to the 15 million Americans with eating disorders.
